Bixby joined Nate Trier for Trier’s composition recital last week. It was a good time - Bixby contributed string-ed sounds to Nate’s piece “Flowchart Jazz #3.” Audio forthcoming, soldier!
We have a band pic. It overlaps my baritone. It also looks kind of like an old record jacket, which I think is cool.
About me
Open Spaces improvises on the astral plane, weaving together disparate musical influences including classical music, post-rock, jazz and ambient music. The group lays the atmospheric improvisations over adventerous polyrhythms, like the No Neck Blues Band jamming with Captain Beefheart.
